Euroclear Single Platform Interface

Euroclear Single Platform
Euroclear is migrating its operation and four Central Securities Depositories, including CREST in the UK, onto a single system, the Euroclear Single Platform. The Single Platform is part of a “harmonisation” of infrastructures taking place on a large scale across Europe.

Singularity, through its engagement with Euroclear in building the Single Platform, is uniquely placed to provide products and services that can help your Institution efficiently and effectively connect to the Single Platform.

All market participants who interface to Euroclear must make the transition to the new Single Platform as it comes on-line in stages in the 2009-2012 period.

Euroclear Common Communication Interface (CCI)
Access to the Single Platform will be provided by Euroclear’s new Common Communication Interface (CCI) which provides a uniform access mechanism to all the post-trade services of the Single Platform. For CCI users, new message formats are being phased in based on ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 standards and this transition will span in phases the period from 1Q2009 to the end of 2010.

Euroclear CCI for CREST Users
Available now is Singularity’s Euroclear Gateway UK & Ireland (SEG UKI) for clients who need to make the transition away from the CREST interface prior to its final removal at the end of 2010. SEG UKI can operate alongside existing CREST interfaces, thereby facilitating the phased change-over from the DEX message repertoire to the new ISO standard messages.

Whatever your current infrastructure, the SEG UKI can meet your Euroclear Single Platform communication needs. For existing Singularity customers the transition is entirely straightforward. If you are not a Singularity customer, our expert consultants can ensure a successful transition to a trusted and robust solution supplied by experts in Euroclear’s infrastructure.
